I turned seventy this year, but I still manage 20,000 pyeong (approx. 66,000 m²) of rice paddies and 10,000 pyeong (approx. 33,000 m²) of fields, with all of the fields devoted to garlic cultivation. Additionally, I raise 150 Hanwoo cattle in two barns. I started with just rice farming. At one point, I had as much as 30,000 pyeong of paddy, which is quite a scale. However, Boeun is known for being excellent land for garlic, so I gradually converted some of the paddies into fields, and now garlic is the main crop on my farm. These days, I naturally find myself preparing to pass the baton, working alongside my only son.
I first encountered a TYM tractor back in the 1970s. Some may remember the “Cheonhajangsa (Strongman) Tractor.” Since then, I have used more than 10 TYM machines. In other words, my farming skills have grown hand in hand with TYM.
From two-row rice transplanters, combines, two riding cultivators, the TS125 tractor, TX76 tractor, and more—nearly all my work is done with TYM equipment. Most recently, I purchased the newly released T76 tractor.

What stands out most is when I bought the TX76 tractor three years ago for moving rice straw and light rotary work in the cattle barn. Beyond its performance, it maneuvers smoothly even in tight spaces.
With so much work, one machine simply wasn’t enough. When I heard the T76 had been launched with improved design and operability, I immediately sought advice. I was completely satisfied with its design, size, and power, so I purchased it right away.
Now, my son uses the TX76 for cattle barn work, and I use the T76 for rice and loader tasks. I doubt there are many farms with two 76-horsepower tractors! This shows just how much trust I place in TYM tractors—they have become an integral part of my farm.

Farm machinery isn’t just a tool. It’s a companion you sweat with from dawn till dusk. That’s why I look not only at performance, but also at the people and the brand behind the machine.
TYM doesn’t just make great products—the service at the Boeun dealer and Chungbuk branch is always prompt and precise. Whenever I call, they come right away and handle maintenance thoroughly, allowing me to focus solely on farming. That’s the kind of brand TYM is.
That’s why I use TYM now and will continue to in the future. I hope the brand carries forward this pride, inspired by fans like me. In the countryside, it’s common to hear, “If it’s TYM, you can trust it.”

Now, working with my son and watching him skillfully operate TYM equipment fills me with pride. The know-how has been passed on, and trust is being carried into the next generation. Isn’t that what farming is all about?
My farming life with TYM.
The machines may change, but my trust remains the same.
