TYM (Co-CEOs: Kim Hiyong and Kim Dohoon / 002900), a global leader in agricultural machinery, announced on June 21 that it officially opened the ‘TYM Yeongnam Plaza’ in Chilgok, Gyeongbuk on June 20, establishing an integrated service hub for customers in the Yeongnam region.
With the opening of Yeongnam Plaza, TYM has now completed its five-region nationwide integrated service network, following the launch of similar hubs in Honam, Chungcheong, Central, and Cheorwon. Notably, TYM is the first company in the industry to directly operate integrated service centers that offer both service and parts in one location, elevating its customer-focused service infrastructure and further strengthening customer-centric management.
Located in Dongmyeong-myeon, Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk, TYM Yeongnam Plaza was created as a core hub to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of farmers in the Yeongnam area. The center has been designed to deliver regionally optimized, integrated services, considering the area’s diverse terrain and complex crop cultivation environment.

Equipped with state-of-the-art exhibition halls and a comprehensive parts center, Yeongnam Plaza serves as a unified location for products, parts, and service. Customers can directly experience TYM’s advanced agricultural technology, products, and services, and benefit from on-site, customized solutions—such as support for advanced repairs that may be challenging for standard dealerships—ensuring that critical work continues uninterrupted during peak seasons. TYM envisions Yeongnam Plaza not just as a sales space, but as a channel for deepening communication with customers and contributing to the creation of a more sustainable local agricultural ecosystem.
The opening ceremony began with a welcome speech by Co-CEO Kim Do-hoon, followed by an introduction to Yeongnam Plaza and TYM’s product lineup, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a guided tour of the plaza and its exhibits. The event was attended by TYM executives and staff, regional leaders such as Choi Byung-chun (Chairman of Dongmyeong Agricultural Cooperative) and Kim Hee-san (Director of Yeongnam Materials Distribution Center), and other distinguished community members.

A TYM representative stated, “Through Yeongnam Plaza and our five-region integrated service network, TYM provides a balanced, nationwide service infrastructure and enhances customer satisfaction through region-specific support. Moving forward, we will maintain our commitment to field-based operations and customer feedback, taking the lead in developing a sustainable agricultural ecosystem and fulfilling our role as Korea’s premier agricultural machinery company.”
