Global agricultural machinery leader TYM (Co-CEOs: Hiyong Kim and Dohoon Kim / 002900) announced on the 27th that the company will become the first in Korea to launch a ‘Certified Used John Deere Tractor Business’.
Since 1987, TYM has been the largest official importer of John Deere, the world’s number one agricultural machinery brand, in Korea, offering a diverse range of tractor products alongside top-tier customer service. Leveraging decades of experience and expertise, TYM’s launch of the "Certified Used John Deere Tractor" program aims to address structural issues in the used agricultural equipment market, including non-transparent pricing and lack of after-sales care. This initiative is designed to boost customer trust and satisfaction.
Certified used tractors under this program will undergo John Deere’s rigorous global quality standard, the “John Deere Expert Check,” a precision inspection covering over 140 criteria. Only John Deere tractors up to 10 years old that pass this inspection will be certified, with warranty coverage extending up to 12 months or 300 operating hours, depending on usage history and unit condition.


TYM manages every stage in-house, from purchasing used John Deere tractors to reconditioning and sales, using dedicated teams of specialized personnel to ensure customers can confidently choose certified units. With six TYM Plazas equipped for John Deere servicing in all eight provinces nationwide, ten additional service centers, a network of 230 dealers, and the country’s largest pool of John Deere Pro certified technicians, TYM will provide near-new maintenance quality and comprehensive after-sales support.
